Today in Grey Pot we are making some Ghee rice.
Soaked Basmati Rice - 1 cup
Spices - Bay leaf, Cinnamon, Cardamom, cloves and pepper
For frying - Sliced onions, nuts and raisins
First fry Onions, nuts and raisins in ghee and keep it aside. Add some more ghee add spices, few fried onions and soaked rice and saute it until all water evaporates and add 2 cups water with some salt and cook.
Once the rice is cooked add all fried onion, nuts and raisins and also the chopped pineapple. Mix it and serve it with Butter chicken.
