In this Christmas Season lets make Plum cake without Alcohol.
All Purpose Flour - 2 cups
Butter - 1 cup / 128 gms
Sugar - 1 cup + 1/2 cup
Baking Powder - 1 tsp
Baking Soda -1/2 tsp
Salt - 1/2 tsp, Eggs - 5
Water - 1/4 cup + 1/2 cup boiling water
Spices ( Dry ginger, Cinnamon, Cardamom, cloves)
Make caramel syrup. Separate the egg yolks and egg whites. Add sugar into the egg yolks mix it and add butter and mix. Add vanilla essence and orange zest and mix. Then add flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and powdered spices. and mix add the caramel syrup and mix it well then beat the egg whites until you get soft peaks and add it to the cake batter. drain the dry fruits add some flour into the fruits and mix and add it to the cake batter with the juice and mix it well. Then pour it in a cake tin and bake it at 180 degree Celsius for 50 - 55 minutes or until the inserted tooth pik comes out clean. Decorate with some sugar glaze and tutti frutti.
